With the contract renewed for another six fights, Conor McGregor pointed out some names for the next fights in the UFC. Among the fighters chosen is the former middleweight champion (84 kg), Anderson Silva. In an interview with the North American program 'Ariel Helwani's MMA Show', 'Notorious' stated that the fight would make sense in his career, as the Brazilian is a 'legend' in MMA.

“You know what would be fun? Anderson Silva! Where is this guy? He’s one of the legends of this game,” said Conor.
With this, McGregor placed the Brazilian on the same level as Georges St-Pierre who won the middleweight and welterweight belts. “What’s the difference between him and Georges [St-Pierre]? It's the same thing. I’m only going to do fights that interest me or that have some meaning”, explained the Irishman.
However, to face the Brazilian, Conor will have to wait. Anderson Silva He is still serving the suspension imposed by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and is free to return from November 10th.
Another of Conor's wishes is a rematch against Floyd Mayweather in the octagon or ring. McGregor was defeated by the boxer in a boxing match in August 2017.
“If [Mayweather] has the will to come in and deal with this, like he said he does, we’ll see what happens. I would also like a boxing match with him again. Everything is up for discussion. But if it's not an MMA fight, I don't even want to know. It will have to be an MMA fight or a boxing fight. If they come looking for modified rules, I'd rather just box again. If you’re not willing to deal with it, then don’t deal with it,” McGregor concluded.
