With open training in Barra, UFC Rio releases event schedule

Ultimate has released the complete schedule for the second edition of UFC Rio, an event that will be held on the 14th at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. But before the fights, fans will be able to participate in a series of activities offered by the organization that begin on Wednesday (11).

Wednesday, January 11th:

– Autograph session with Wanderlei Silva at the Centauro store in Leblon, from 19pm.

– Open training on Barra da Tijuca beach, close to Posto 3, with José Aldo, Chad Mendes, Vitor belfort e Anthony Johnson. The event will be open to the public, starting at 11am.

Thursday, January 12th:

– Visit to the Mangueira samba school, with the fighters Junior Gypsy e Jon Jones, as well as UFC ring girls Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell, starting at 18 p.m.

– Autograph session with Rogério Minotouro at Paquetá Esportes do Norte Shopping, from 19pm.

– Autograph session with Demian Maia at Centauro in Shopping Bourbon, in São Paulo, from 19pm.

– Press conference, broadcast live on SUPER LUTAS, from 13pm. The event will take place at the Copacabana Palace hotel, with the participation of José Aldo, Chad Mendes, Vitor belfort e Anthony Johnson, and will not be open to the public.

Friday, January 13th:

– Autograph session with Junior Gypsy, Lyoto Machida, Wanderlei Silva, Rogério Minotouro, Gray Maynard e Diego Brandao at HSBC Arena, between 16:30 pm and 17:30 pm.

– Fans interview Junior Gypsy and Paula Sack, from 17:30 pm, at the HSBC Arena.

– Weigh-in of the 20 UFC Rio fighters from 19pm with live broadcast of the SUPER FIGHTS.

Saturday, January 14th:

– UFC Rio 2 at HSBC Arena. Gates open at 20pm

– The preliminary card starts at 22:05

– The main card starts at 1am

– The event is expected to end at 4am
