UFC 228: find out how to cash in on the preliminary card

Profit from opening fights can reach 375%

This Saturday night (08), the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, United States, will be the stage for UFC 228. The event's main attractions will be belt disputes in the welterweight divisions, with the fight between Tyron woodley e Darren till, and women's flyweight, in which Nicco Montaño will challenge the champion Valentina Shevchenko. The profit possibilities, however, go much further, as three other fights are planned for the main card, and nine will take place in the event's opening slot.

Below, you can check the best investment options for the preliminary card according to the odds of the Oddsshark.com.

Carla Esparza x Tatiana Suárez

To open work, there's nothing like a classic beard. This is the scenario presented in the fight between Carla esparza and Tatiana Suárez, with the former's triumph offering a return margin of no less than 375%.

PUBLICITY:

Suárez's strong favoritism over a better-ranked fighter and former Ultimate champion is due to her brilliant start in the main MMA franchise. In three fights for the UFC, the American submitted Amanda Cooper and Alexa grasso in the first round, and beat Brazilian Viviane Pereira by unanimous decision. Ninth in the division rankings, she has a record of six wins and no losses. Her triumph is quoted at R$1,18/R$1,00.

Esparza has a much more extensive resume, but it has fluctuated a lot in the last three years, after she lost the belt to Poland's Joanna Jędrzejczyk. Since then, there have been five fights, with three wins and two losses, the last one to Claudia Gadelha, at UFC 225, just under three months ago.

PUBLICITY:

Charles Byrd x Darren Stewart

In the welterweight division, the North American Charles byrd is the most likely to win the fight against the Englishman Darren stewart.

Byrd was revealed on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, where he won two fights against Jamie Pickett and Randall Wallace. In his debut for the franchise, at UFC 127, in March, he beat his compatriot John Phillips in the first round. An excellent finisher, this is how he achieved his last three victories, and ground fighting will be one of his main weapons to get the better of another fight. The North American's record is 10 wins and four losses.

PUBLICITY:

Darren stewart, in turn, is a fighter looking to recover after a season of poor results in 2017. The Brit lost his three fights last year, against Francimar Barroso, Karl Robertson e Julian Marquez, the last two by submission. The tide began to turn with the arrival of 2018, and he won again at Fight Night in Liverpool, when he faced Eric Spicely. His recent record, however, still causes some suspicion, and he will enter the octagon as an underdog.

According to the quotas of the Oddsshark.com, the return for a White triumph will be R$1,43/R$1,00, but if Stewart surprises, the bettor's profit will be 180%.

Jarred Brooks vs Roberto Sanchez

In the first fight of the night, Ryan Benoit had originally been scheduled to face Roberto Sanchez in the flyweight division, but had to withdraw due to an injury, and was replaced by Jared Brooks.

PUBLICITY:

The change of opponent did not change the fact that Sanchez was the underdog. The fighter debuted in the UFC a year ago with a defeat to Joseph Morales at Fight Night 114. In his second engagement, just over six months ago, he got the better of Joby Sanchez, and is now looking for a new triumph to establish himself in the franchise.

Brooks is a fighter who moves through different divisions, but since signing with the UFC in 2017, he has remained firm among the flyweights. The results, however, have been disappointing. The North American arrived undefeated in the franchise, and made a good impression when he debuted with a victory over Eric Shelton at UFC 214. However, the first defeat of his career came in the next fight, against the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo, and it happened again against Jose Torres at UFC Utica, in early June.

The odds will be much more generous if the winner is Sanchez, reaching the 280% mark. Brooks' triumph is priced at R$1,29 for every real invested.
