After more than a year, Germaine De Randamie returns to face Raquel Pennington at UFC Denver

After a year and a half away from the octagon, the first female featherweight champion, Germaine DeRandamie returns to Ultimate at UFC Denver on November 10th. She will face the former bantamweight belt challenger, Rachel Pennington.

Germaine won the inaugural women's featherweight belt by winning Holly holm at UFC 208, but lost the title after refusing to fight with Chris Cyborg. After that, the fighter almost disappeared from MMA and continued her career as a police officer.

Rachel Pennington wants to rediscover the winning path after being defeated by the bantamweight champion, Amanda nunes in May this year at UFC 224. Before that, the American was on a streak of four consecutive victories against Jessica Andrade, Bethe Correia, Elizabeth Phillips and Misha Tate.
