While waiting for Ultimate to decide the date of his superfight against the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes, Chris Cyborg talked about his old rival Ronda Rousey. In an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website, the Brazilian stated that she would have no problem facing and losing to 'Rowdy' in WWE.

“I think Ronda's biggest fear was losing to me, so if we did that in WWE she would have to win. I don't have that big of an ego, but if we put on a show for the fans or something like that, there's no problem. But I don’t see myself in that now”, assured Cyborg.
Cyborg believes that Rousey would only accept a fight if she came out victorious. Even so, the Brazilian admits that she would accept “I believe she would only do it like this. No problem. I know what would happen in a real fight”, said Cris.
One of the biggest wishes of MMA fans was a superfight between Cyborg and Rousey while the two were dominating their respective divisions in Ultimate. The organization at the time had no interest in a fight between champions from different divisions.
The Brazilian said that she has already seen Ronda's participation in the WWE ring. “I watched her perform in WWE. She took a different path, right? Because she lost and didn't return to MMA, everyone saw that she's not (built) for MMA. If she was, she would have returned even with a loss, like any other athlete. Losing is part of the sport”, provoked Cris.
After her departure from Ultimate and the octagons, the Brazilian's plans are to go to a boxing ring. Cris never hid his desire to face a champion boxer. “I want to box. I want a real fight”, said Cris.
