With a knockout victory over cody garbrandt at UFC 227 last Saturday (04), TJ Dillashaw he kept the bantamweight belt and became a target for challengers. The first was the new flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo who asked at the event in Los Angeles to face him. Then it was the Brazilian's turn, Marlon moraes who posted on his Twitter a challenge to 'Viper' at UFC 229 on October 6 in Las Vegas.

"Congratulations champion. What now???? … Let’s go, October 6th!”, Moraes teased on Twitter.
Marlon moraes is the first option for Dillashaw's next title defense, but another possible rival is already opting to return to Ultimate, the former champion Dominick Cruz. In an interview with the website “Sherdog”, Tj assured that he does not want a confrontation with the North American.
“I'm never afraid of a challenge, but hey, Dominick Cruz hasn't even fought since he lost the belt. He had me chasing the #1 candidates, so get to work, Dominick,” Dillashaw explained.
