Ultimate athletes are currently looking for a big fight that will generate public interest. Out of the organization since November 2017, former welterweight and middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre also wants a worthy rival for his return. In an interview with “Submission Radio” the Canadian stated that he wants to face the winner of the clash between the lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov e Conor McGregor.

Another opponent was considered for St. Pierre's return, the Brazilian Anderson Silva. This superfight was an old desire of Ultimate while the fighters were champions of the organization. Now, GSP believes the opportunity for it to be a great fight has passed.
