Cyborg runs over Japanese woman and defends Strikeforce belt

Chris Cyborg She was away from MMA for more than 500 days, but the Brazilian proved on Saturday night (17) that she is still the best MMA fighter in the world. In action at Strikeforce, which took place in the city of San Diego, in the United States, the Brazilian athlete needed just 16 seconds to knock out the Japanese woman Hiroko yamanaka and defend the belt in the women's featherweight category in the organization.

Right at the beginning of the dispute, Cyborg showed that he was hungry for a fight. Cris connected a beautiful sequence of standing punches that knocked Yamanaka down. Without wasting time, the Brazilian launched a sequence of strikes on the ground and forced the referee to stop the fight. With the triumph, the Brazilian has 11 wins and just one defeat on her record, which happened precisely on her debut in the sport.

In the main fight of the night, valid for the lightweight belt, champion Gibert Melendez dominated the challenger Jorge masvidal for five rounds and retained the organization's title in a unanimous decision by the judges.
