Current Bellator featherweight champion, Patrick Pitbull won rematch against Daniel weichel and retained the title of the franchise organization after a split decision win by the judges. The confrontation was disputed and strategic; The details made a difference to the Brazilian's triumph.

The first round was the moment in which the fighters used to study the opponent's distance and strategy. Thus, the athletes did not show much effectiveness. In the second round, Patrício returned more offensively and applied a good sequence of blows to Weichel. The German looked for a takedown in the first 10 minutes of the fight, but was unable to do so.
In the third round, Daniel imposed his game more easily, took down Pitbull, and applied important ground and pound strikes. He still tried to finish the Brazilian, but to no avail.

The highlight of the event in Italy was Michele Martignoni. Just 6 seconds into the fight, he kicked Simone D'Anna in the head and she was knocked out. Thus, he achieved the record for the fastest knockout in the organization's history.
