O UFC 140 will not bring good memories to Rodrigo Minotauro. The Brazilian black belt waited almost three years to get his rematch against Frank Mir, and after almost knocking out the North American, he ended up submitting with a kimura.
As the Brazilian preferred not to give up, Minotauro ended up fracturing his humerus and will have to undergo recovery through surgical treatment. The information was released by Luis Dórea, Rodrigo's boxing coach, via Twitter.
“Friends, the Minotaur is leaving the Hospital, and unfortunately he will have to undergo surgery! He will still decide whether to do it in the USA or Brazil”, said Dórea through the microblog.

Seconds before the finish, Minotauro turned the wrong way and Frank got the kimura and it was obvious that he was going to rip Minotauro's arm off.
The worst part was that on Countdown the Minotaur said that if he fit in he would break Frank's arm. I've been a big fan of his since the beginning, but I believe he disappointed as an athlete and in terms of his maturity towards the sport.
Either way, he is already one of the greatest of all time. Strength Minota and may you learn again from your defeat.
