Paulo Borrachinha challenges Chris Weidman after knocking out Uriah Hall

The Brazilian wants a confrontation with the former champion and projects that the winner will be the next challenger for the middleweight title

With a knockout in Uriah Hall at UFC 226 on Saturday, Paulo borrachinha achieved the biggest victory of his career and remained undefeated. The triumph brought the Brazilian closer to the top 5 middleweights. The Brazilian wasted no time and has already challenged the former division champion, Chris Weidman.

"I want the Chris Weidman. And he won't have any choices. Why not? What will he wait for? He has to fight,” Borrachinha claimed.

Weidman has already declared that he wants to be the next title challenger against the current champion, Robert whittaker. The fighter's desire was not recognized by Ultimate, which confirmed the Australian and Kelvin Gastelum as TUF 28 coaches and a title fight at the end of 2018.

Borrachinha wants to fight Weidman, and plans for the winner to be the next challenger to the middleweight champion.
