With a delay of seven months, Jessica Pile Driver e Karolina Kowalkiewicz should face each other at UFC 228, which takes place on September 8, in Las Vegas. The fight should have taken place in February this year in UFC Orlando, but the Polish woman claimed health problems and was removed. According to “ESPN”, there is already a verbal agreement between Ultimate and the athletes. The winner of the clash should be the next challenger for the strawweight title against the champion Rose namajunas.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz at 32 years old, she is currently number four in the UFC women's strawweight rankings. The Polish woman has already fought for the belt with Jedrzejczyk and was also defeated by unanimous decision in November 2016. In her MMA career, the fighter had 14 fights, with 12 wins and two losses to Claudia gadelha and the former strawweight champion.
