Jessica Rose Clark, UFC flyweight was a victim of domestic violence by her ex-fiance and fellow fighter, Julian Wallace. In an interview with the podcast 'Phonebooth Fighting' he declared that he is against signing the heavyweight, Greg hardy. She also condemned the organization for admitting abusers.
“They gave him a second chance, but I firmly believe that someone capable of committing an attack like the one I suffered cannot change. A person can act out an entire persuasion, tell the biggest lie in the world and convince you that they have changed. However, deep down, what exists there is an individual completely willing to commit attacks of that nature again,” said Rose-Clark.

The flyweight fighter asked what would be the motivation for Hardy to stop attacking another woman, since there was no punishment. “What’s to stop Hardy from doing this with his next girlfriend? I promise you this wasn't the first time he did something like this and wasn't punished. He suffered no punishment for this and other times, and will now be watched around the world, one of the most popular sports on the planet. So what stops you from doing this again?”, concluded Jessica.
The 30-year-old Australian was signed by Ultimate in 2017 when she beat Englishwoman Bec Rawlings. Clark has a record of 11 professional fights, with nine wins and two losses.
