The last UFC event in 2011 already has its card defined, including the order of fights. Led by the heavyweight duel between Brock Lesnar e alistair overeem, who will compete for the champion's number one challenger spot Junior Gypsy, the event will be held on December 30th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Three Brazilians are scheduled for the event’s preliminaries. Junior Assunção will face Englishman Ross Pearson, Luis Beição will face the American Matt Riddle, while Diego nunes takes Manny Gamburyan, a native of Armenia.
UFC 141 will also be the last event to have prelims broadcast on Spike TV in the United States. As of 2012, the FOX Sports group will be fully responsible for the million-dollar agreement signed this year.
