Undisputed featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg.), Chris Cyborg She could build a long career within the UFC, but that's not the fighter's plan. The Curitiba native revealed that she intends to fulfill her current contract with the organization for two fights, but does not intend to renew the contract. The Brazilian's plan is to move to boxing next.

In an interview with the 'MMA Hour' program, Cyborg revealed that his contract has two more fights and expires in March 2019 – whichever ends first. His plan, in principle, is not to renew with Ultimate and face boxer Cecilia Braekhus, multiple champion in the noble art and with titles in the World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBC), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO).
“I want to box. After these two fights [on the current contract], I want to have a fight against Cecilia Braekhus, or it could be against [Layla] McCarter. Maybe after this I can go back to MMA, but I want to do a boxing fight. I want it now, because now Cecilia is available, and we haven't found women to face me. The next two in line are the winner of Holm vs Anderson and Amanda nunes,” stated Cyborg.
Cyborg, who had revealed his interest in returning to the Octagon in July at UFC 226, still has no opponent planned. The expectation is that the winner of the fight between Holly holm e Megan anderson which takes place at UFC 225, on the 9th, will be the Brazilian's next rival. The Paraná native has a record of 20 wins and just one defeat. She hasn't known what it's like to lose since her first professional fight in 2005.
