Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic would hold a rematch against Roy Nelson in the main fight of Bellator 200, in London on Friday (25). The heavyweight fighters would clash in the organization's heavyweight GP, but 'Cro Cop' suffered an injury and is out of the fight. The exclusive information was from the British newspaper 'The Telegraph' and confirmed by Bellator.
With the departure of 'Cro Cop' x Nelson, the clash for the middleweight title (84 kg) between Raphael Carvalho e Gegard Mousasi the main fight of the event was promoted.
According to Ryan Grab, Bellator's communications director, there is no information about the type of injury suffered by Filipovic. “Mirko Cro Cop suffered an undisclosed injury and was removed from the card. We are looking for replacements [to face Nelson], but for now, Carvalho-Mousasi has been moved up to the main event fight and Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs. David Rickels has been elevated to the co-main event fight position,” he said.
