McGregor's teammate will fight for the title at Brave 13

Frans Mlambo, McGregor's training partner, challenges champion Stephen Loman for the event's bantamweight belt

Bantamweight Frans Mlambo will be the next challenger to Stephen Loman for the Brave bantamweight (up to 62,1 kg.) belt. The duel will be the main attraction of Brave 13: Euro Evolution, an event that takes place on June 9th, in Northern Ireland. Mlambo, who became known after being cast as one of Conor McGregor, will try to take revenge for the only defeat suffered in Brave.

In September 2016, the Irishman of South African origin lost to Loman by unanimous decision at Brave 1, the first show in the organization's history. Just under two years later, “The Black Mamba” qualified for title contention after winning three fights in a row, including a first-round knockout over Brazilian Felipe Efrain at Brave 10, in March this year.

Loman, on the other hand, surpassed Gurdarshan “St. Lion” Mangat at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions to become the first bantamweight champion in Brave Combat Federation history and will now be the organization's third champion to defend his title, after Elias Boudegzdame (featherweight) and Klidson de Abreu ( light heavyweight) have previously retained their belts.
