Amanda nunes showed once again why she is the UFC bantamweight champion. The Bahian woman was not aware of the challenger Rachel Pennington, dominated her rival for more than 20 minutes until winning by technical knockout in the fifth round. The fight was the main attraction of UFC 224 – also called UFC Rio 9 – an event held this Saturday (12), in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian showed all the variety of her arsenal during the dispute. She put pressure on the fight on her feet with low kicks and punches, took down her rival whenever she tried to attack and also showed good physical condition to maintain an intense pace throughout the fight.
