On one side Fedor Emelianenko, former Pride champion and considered the greatest heavyweight in history, on the other, Frank mir, former UFC champion and future Ultimate Hall of Famer. And, even though they were far from the best moments of their careers, the athletes did not disappoint the public present in Rosemont (USA) and had a performance worthy of remembering the peak of their careers.

The fight began with Mir taking the initiative. He kicked Fedor's leg and then punched him in the face. The Russian lost his balance and even bent his knee. Emelianenko, however, managed to fight the fight in the clinch, avoid being punished and even managed a beautiful takedown.
