In addition to being a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, Treta is undefeated with seven wins in MMA. In her first fight in Bellator, the fighter submitted Amanda Bell with a choke. In 2015, Budd and Talita were going to face each other, but the fight was cancelled.
Budd's last loss was to Ronda Rousey in Strikeforce, in 2011. Since then, the Canadian has remained undefeated with nine straight victories in her career. Julia won the featherweight belt against Marloes Coenen in a technical knockout.
In addition to the Brazilian, Dudu Dantas will also be in this edition of the event. He faces the American Michael McDonald, who fought for the UFC belt against Renan Barao, in 2013, but lost the fight.
