Glover Teixeira faces Ilir Latifi at UFC Hamburg

The UFC Hamburg fight program, an event that takes place on July 22nd in Germany, is becoming increasingly Brazilian. After announcing Mauricio Shogun in the main fight of the show against the Swiss Volkan oezdemir, now another athlete from the country has been confirmed on the card. This Tuesday (24), the miner Glover Teixeira was announced against Ilir Latifi.

Glover, 38 years old, has 27 wins, 17 of which are by knockout and six defeats throughout his career. In his last fight, the Minas Gerais native defeated the Russian Misha Cirkunov by knockout in the first round. He is in third place in the rankings in his category.

The Swede Ilir Latifi he is right behind the Brazilian in the UFC rankings. At 34 years old, he has 14 wins, five losses and one fight without result. Latifi has won five of his last six fights.

With Glover's announcement on the show, Brazil now has three representatives on the UFC Hamburg card. In addition to Teixeira and Shogun, the middleweight Vitor miranda face Abu Azaitar.
