Without going into details about his future as a fighter, Wand made his name available to the party to run for deputy for the state of Paraná. He also revealed why he joined the PSD, after contacts with PSDB, PV and PSC.

“If I am chosen by the party, I intend to be a candidate for federal deputy. But I joined Ratinho's (Junior) party because I'm going to vote for him (for governor). I received an invitation from other parties, but I really think that Ratinho's audience is the same as mine: young and wanting change”, said Silva, in an interview with the 'Luta Livre' blog, on the Gazeta do Povo portal.

With a stable financial situation, due to years of competing in major events such as Pride, UFC and Bellator, Wanderlei wants to use his campaign to prove that 'it can be done without a scheme'.

PUBLICITY:

“I’m not going to invest anything in the campaign. I want to show that it can be done without getting into the schemes. I will do what conscience tells me and what the people want. I don't need the people's money, I don't need to corrupt myself, I don't need to steal. I will do things the way they have to be done. It has to be someone with chest and panache. I’ve already shown it in the ring and now I’m going to show it in parliament.”

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
