This Saturday (14), all eyes of MMA lovers will be on the Gila River Arena, in Arizona, where UFC Glendale takes place, whose main attraction will be the long-awaited duel between lightweights Dustin poirier e Justin gaethje.

The Brazilian public will have good reasons to follow the event closely. Five Brazilian representatives will take to the Octagon, with emphasis on Cowboy Alex Oliveira, who will replace Matt Brown in the fight against Carlos Condit  in the welterweight category.

Dhiego Lima x Yushin Okami

The welterweight Dhiego Lima will have a tough time against the experienced Japanese Yushin Okami, 36 years old, who after four years fighting for other franchises is trying to resume his career in the UFC.

PUBLICITY:

In the past, Okami has challenged for the UFC and WSOF belts in the middleweight category, but his return to Dana White's franchise was anything but encouraging. Fighting at home, the Japanese was easily submitted by the Haitian Ovince St Preux, and will seek recovery against the Brazilian.

For Lima, this could be his last opportunity in the UFC. After an unsuccessful stint with the franchise between 2015 and 2016, in which he lost three fights and won one, he gained a new opportunity by reaching the final of TUF 25 Finale, but ended up defeated by Jesse Taylor.

PUBLICITY:

The quotas of Oddsshark.com point to a very balanced fight, with a return of R$1,83/R$1,00 for Okami's victory and R$1,90/R$1,00 if the Brazilian wins.

Gilbert Durinho x Dan Moret

The fight between Gilbert Durinho and Dan Moret will bring together two ground fighting specialists who can be proud of having never been submitted.

The Brazilian has a good track record within the UFC. Gilbert “Tourinho” Burns has seven fights for the franchise, with five wins and two losses, and is coming off a great knockout over Canadian Jason Saggo at UFC Fight Night 116. Dan Moret has a record of 13 wins and three losses for the LFA, and will make his debut in the new organization.

PUBLICITY:

Tourinho is the clear favorite. According to Oddsshark.com, a triumph for the Brazilian will pay R$1,20 per real bet, while the North American will provide a return of 350% if he manages to surprise.

Wilson Reis x John Moraga

The flyweight Wilson reis is going through his worst moment since arriving in the UFC in 2013. The Brazilian was defeated in the title fight against Demetrious Johnson, and disappointed again in the next fight, against the North American Henry Cejudo, at UFC 215. Reis has a record of 22 wins and eight losses, and is currently sixth in the rankings.

North-American John Moraga is a fighter on the rise, who comes from two victories over Ashkan Mokhtarian and Magomed Bibulatov, and is back in the top 10 of the category rankings. His record is 18 wins and six losses.

The history weighs in favor of the Brazilian, who enters as favorite, with a 69% yield for victory. If Moraga is the winner, each real bet will return R$2,15.

Tim Boetsch x Antonio Carlos Shoe Guy

On the back of four consecutive victories, the Brazilian Antonio Shoe Guy, 27 years old, faces American veteran Tim Boetsch, 10 years older, in the middleweight category.

Despite not experiencing his best days, and being outside the top 15 in the rankings, Boetsch continues to be a very competitive fighter, and has won three of his last four engagements. His record is 21 wins and 11 losses.

Shoe Face He was the winner of the third edition of TUF Brasil, and since then he has built a beautiful trajectory in the heavyweight category. The Brazilian, who specializes in jiu-jitsu, has a record of nine wins, two losses and one no contest.

Even with a much lower return, of 37%, compared to the 210% returned in the event of the North American's victory, the best option is to invest in Shoe Face, who will hardly fail to win this fight.

 Carlos Condit x Alex Cowboy

The chance to compete in the co-main event of the event fell into the lap of Cowboy Alex Oliveira, who was called up to replace the injured Matt Brown. The Brazilian is coming off a bad result at UFC 218, in December 2017, in which he was knocked out by the American Yancy Medeiros in what was awarded fight of the night. Before that, the welterweight had an unbeaten run of five fights. His record has 18 wins, 5 losses, and one no contest.

the experienced Carlos Condit He already owned the category's belt, but has been going through a bad phase since May 2015, when he got his last victory, against Brazilian Thiago Alves, at UFC Fight Night Goiania. He has since been defeated by Robbie Lawler, Demian Maia e Neil Magny. The North American has an extensive record of 30 wins and 11 losses.

The numbers of the Oddsshark.com they decree that favoritism belongs to the Brazilian, and that if they win, they will guarantee a 50% return. The local fighter's triumph pays R$2,60 per real bet.
