Patrício Pitbull defends Bellator belt against Daniel Weichel, in July

The Brazilian Patricio pitbull he already has a date, place and opponent to defend the Bellator featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg.). The potiguar faces Daniel weichel in the 203rd edition of the show, an event that takes place on July 14th, in Rome (ITA). The fight was made official by the franchise through a post on social media.

The fight between Patricio and Weichel marks a rematch between the athletes. In the first duel between them, held at Bellator 138, in June 2015, the Brazilian won by knockout in the second round.

Pitbull has a professional record of 26 wins and four losses. In his last fight, in April 2017, the Brazilian regained the featherweight division belt by submitting North American Daniel Straus in the second round.

In turn, Weichel has a record of 39 wins and nine losses as a professional. The German fighter secured the right to challenge Pitbull for scoring four consecutive victories in the organization. In his last appearance, 'Drake', as he is known, defeated Brazilian John Macapá, at Bellator 177, in April 2017
