Brazilian women keep winning titles in MMA! In the early hours of this Sunday (25), the Bahian Virna jandiroba defeated Japanese Mizuki Inoue, in Salt Lake City (USA), and won the strawweight title (up to 52,1 kg.) of Invicta FC, an exclusively women's event.

A specialist in the ground game, Virna imposed his game against Inoue. She took down her rival on several occasions, evolved in positions and scored points by beating her on top (See the best moments in the player below). At the end of five rounds, the side judges scored the triumph for the Brazilian, who won the vacant belt in the strawweight category, vacated by the former champion Angela Hill when she was hired by the UFC.
In addition to Virna, Brazil had another representative on the Invicta FC 28 card: Fernanda 'Pitbull' Priscila faced Finnish Minna Grusande, but ended up defeated by technical knockout in the second round.
