Video: Fighter climbs on rival to celebrate 'self-knockout' and loses by disqualification

Fights involving athletes new to MMA tend to present unusual situations, but Drew Chatman and Irvins Ayala went further. The fighters, who were making their debut in the sport, created a bizarre situation at the LFA 36 event.

The problem started when Ayala 'knocked himself out'. He lifted his rival, but when he threw him against the ground, he hit his head on Drew's knee and went out. If that wasn't enough, Chatman, who saw victory fall into his lap, returned the kindness to his opponent. When he went to celebrate the triumph, Chatman decided to climb on top of his disabled opponent to do a somersault. The referee did not like the attitude and disqualified the fighter for unsportsmanlike conduct (watch the scene below).

Brazilians are defeated

In addition to the fight with an unusual outcome, the LFA 36 fight program brought three Brazilians into action, who ended up defeated: Vinicius Zani was knocked out by Ricky simon, in a valid fight for the bantamweight belt; Guilherme Faria was surpassed by Jamall Emmers, while Ricardo Seixas was defeated by Christian Aguilera.
