Welterweight Rodrigo Cavalheiro will finally make his debut for the Brave Combat Federation. The Brazilian faces compatriot Alessandro Gambulino in the 11th edition of the show, scheduled for Belo Horizonte, on April 13th.

Cavalheiro, 35 years old, would have his first fight for the Middle East event at Brave 8, in Curitiba. At the time, he would face Carlston Harris – however, the Guyanese fighter was hastily called up to replace Mohammad Fakhreddine in the title fight against Carl Booth, leaving Rodrigo without an opponent. Now, the welterweight is looking for his first win in Brave to try to fight Harris, who became champion against Booth.
To do so, however, Cavalheiro will have to get past Alessandro Gambulino, who has nine fights, eight wins and just one loss on his professional record. The welterweight is coming off a triumph over Delmar Silva in July last year, and has not lost in four fights. Through his social networks, Gambulino celebrated the opportunity to fight in an international event.
“I will be fighting at Brave, on April 13th. I will represent all of you who support me, inside the cage. I'm very happy and I'll do my best. I'm ready for war! Let the battle begin soon,” he declared.
Brave 11 will take place in Belo Horizonte, on April 13th, and the main fight will be a duel for the interim lightweight belt between Luan “Miau” Santiago and Lucas “Mineiro” Martins. Also scheduled for the show is the first title defense of light heavyweight champion Klidson de Abreu, as well as the debut of legendary jiu-jitsu fighter Bruno Malfacine in the promotion. Veteran lightweight Gesias Cavalcante will have his first fight at home, against Erivan Pereira. This will be Brave Combat Federation's third time in Brazil, after two shows in Curitiba last year.
