Clash of giants at UFC 225, an event that takes place on June 9, in Chicago. The organizers of the show announced the duel between the heavyweights alistair overeem e Curtis blaydes for the main card of the attraction.

Overeem, 37, has an MMA career of 43 wins and 15 losses as a professional. The Dutchman, who is looking for a new chance to challenge for the heavyweight belt, came close to a duel for the title in his last appearance, but was knocked out by Francis Ngannou at UFC 218, in December last year. 'The Reem', as he is known, is second in the heavyweight rankings
Blaydes, 27 years old, 10 years younger than his rival, has a record of nine wins and just one defeat. The North American is on the rise in the category and hasn't lost in five fights. He currently occupies fifth place in the division rankings.
The UFC 225 fight program already has a representative from Brazil on the show. Claudinha gadelha face the former champion Carla esparza on the main card of the show.
