With three Brazilians in action, UFC arrives in Orlando this Saturday

The city of Mickey, Donald and Cinderella will be the stage for knockout submissions and good fights. The UFC arrives in Orlando, this Saturday (24), with 12 duels and three Brazilians in action. In the main fight tonight, Josh Emmett, third in the featherweight rankings, faces Jeremy Stephen, number seven, with an eye on a title opportunity. In the second most anticipated duel, the Brazilian Jessica Stacker face Tecia torres. The winner must secure the belt to compete for the women's strawweight title.

In addition to Jéssica, the fight program of UFC Orlando brings two more Brazilians into action: Renan Barao returns to the bantamweight division, where he was once champion, to face brian kelleher. Already Rani Yaya will face Russell Doane, in the preliminary program.

Jessica and the title shot

Coming off the most important victory of her career, over her compatriot Claudia gadelha, in September last year, Jessica Stacker is once again close to the women's strawweight belt. The Paraná native, who lost her title shot at UFC 211 in May 2017, when she was dominated by Joanna Jedrzejczyk, occupies second place in the division ranking. In turn, Torres, fifth in the weight class, has a history of 10 triumphs and only one loss as a professional. The North American comes from three consecutive victories and could jump the queue for the belt if she wins Bate-Estaca

The winner of the confrontation could be chosen to face whoever wins the rematch between Namajunas and Joanna, scheduled for April 7th, at UFC 223, in New York (USA).

Renan Barao returns to the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg) after almost three years and faces brian kelleher. The last time he played in the category, the native of Rio Grande do Norte lost the title fight to TJ Dillashaw when he was knocked out in the fourth round.

Still in the bantamweight division, the Brazilian Rani Yaya try to maintain the good recent record. Coming from five wins in six fights, the black belt is trying to score his second victory in the series against Russell Doane.
