The dreaded machete, which scares fighters from the world's main MMA organizations, passed through Bellator this Wednesday (21). The franchise released 13 fighters from its squad, including the Brazilian Philipe Monster.

Monstro arrived at Bellator undefeated and had six fights in the organization. In addition to Philipe, the other 12 athletes released by Bellator are: LC Davis, Steve Garcia, Steve Kozola, Kendall Grove, Georgi Karakhanyan, Fernando Gonzalez, Kevin Casey, Francisco France, Mike Rhodes, Francis Carmont, Ben Reiter and Alexis Dufresne
