Chael Sonnen returned to MMA in style. After being away from competition for 14 months due to problems with doping and justice in his country, the controversial fighter dominated the dangerous Brian Stann and finished the fight in the second round. After the triumph, the North American wasted no time and provoked Anderson Silva, former enemy of Chael.

With so many provocations, Sonnen, it seems, will face Anderson, in an expected rematch of the duel that took place at UFC 117, in August 2010. At least that's what Dana White, president of the UFC, says.
“I would be stupid if I didn’t do this fight”, said the UFC president. “They really don't like each other and it would be a great fight”, added Dana. However, White said he needs to talk to Anderson to find out if he is fully recovered from his shoulder injury.
I have to talk to Anderson and see what he thinks. He's coming off an injury (to his shoulder), but when they're ready, we'll line them up for it. It’s the fight everyone wants to see”, concluded White. In turn, Sonnen already started promoting the fight even before the official announcement and spared no attacks on the champion.
“I can't stand Anderson anymore and he shouldn't stand me. But my word is true. If I lose the rematch, I will leave the UFC. I’m a man of my word,” said Sonnen, remembering the promise he made in the octagon shortly after submitting Brian Stann.
In the first fight between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen, which took place at UFC 117, the North American dominated the Brazilian for more than 23 minutes, but ended up finishing with just over a minute left in the duel with a tight triangle. Shortly after the fight, Anderson revealed that he showed up with a broken rib, while Sonnen was caught taking a drug test for the fight a few weeks later.

Chael beat Stann by a margin. Took a walk!
I think Sonnen is an idiot, but AS will need to go through this guy again... and that won't be easy!
I even want AS to lose to someone (to Belfort, for example), but for Sonnen it would be a disaster.

Partners; Sonnen was defeated by an injured athlete (AS) and was later found to be undergoing a doping test. The guy resorted to anabolic steroids and lost, I still don't know what Dana White wants with this doped up coconut hillbilly, because he just talks shit. This hillbilly never wins AS 100%. To be honest, I think that at the moment no one (in the weight class) is better than Anderson Silva. Silva is a complete fighter, above average on the ground or standing up in striking.
