Felipe Efrain is practically one fight away from competing for the Brave bantamweight division belt. And the Brazilian arrives full of morale for the duel with Frans Mlambo, his training partner. Conor McGregor, scheduled for March 2nd, in the 10th edition of Brave. Recently, the fighter won the organization's Knockout of the Year award, in a vote made by fans on social media. After hearing that his training partner Conor McGregor assured that he would beat him, Efrain made a point of answering him.

Chute Boxe athlete Diego Lima said that the Irishman of South African origin does not impress him and assured that he is used to provocations before his fights.
“He doesn’t impress me. I've been training with tall guys who are good at boxing too. He said he will beat me and everyone says the same thing before facing me. Everyone got it wrong. I'm not in the habit of studying my opponents, just as he isn't either. I work hard to get there and win my fights and it will be no different against him”, commented Efrain, who thanked the fans for winning the end of year award.
“It was really cool to win the award, especially because it was a fan decision. Now I want more”, he guaranteed.
The award-winning knockout over Nawras Abzakh took place at Brave 9, the same event in which Stephen Loman became champion in Efrain's category. The Brazilian admitted that seeing the title holder in action made him more “equipped” to “get over” his opponent.
“Loman is a complete fighter and being able to see him live made me even more excited to go over Mlambo. I want to congratulate Loman and say that it would be an honor to face him, we would put on a show for the fans, for sure”, declared Efrain.
