The women's strawweight belt will be on the line at UFC 223, an event that takes place on April 7th, in Brooklyn (USA). The champion Rose namajunas will make her first title defense against the former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, in a rematch of the duel held in November 2017.

Namajunas has a professional record of seven wins and three losses. The American, runner-up in The Ultimate Fighter 20 (TUF 20), the UFC's reality show, shocked the world at UFC 217 when she knocked out then-champion Jedrzejczyk with a knockout in the first round.
In turn, Jedrzejczyk has a professional record of 14 wins and just one defeat, precisely against Namajunas. Until the duel against her rival, the 31-year-old Pole reigned supreme in the category, but fell in the duel considered the biggest upset of 2017.
