The confidence of Francis Ngannou to win the heavyweight belt at UFC 220 on January 20th seems unshakable. So much so that the Cameroonian doesn't seem worried about the current champion's challenge Stipe Miocic. “I think Overeem is the best striker in the division. I mean, after me (laughs). You said he's champion for a reason and it's true. The reason is that the real champion wasn't in the UFC. Now the true champion has arrived. And I will be the champion. In all my fights, I expect my opponents to eventually try to take me to the ground. In my UFC debut, I faced the Brazilian wrestling champion (Luiz KLB) and managed to avoid the takedown and knock him out. Miocic has good wrestling, but the power in my hands allows me to take the fight wherever I want. I will prepare my trap and he will fall into it”, commented the Cameroonian.

Challenger for the heavyweight belt, Ngannou has 11 wins and just one loss in his professional MMA record. For the UFC, he is undefeated, with six wins in six fights, including brutal knockouts over veterans Andrei Arlovski e alistair overeem.
