Before closing the year with UFC 219, Ultimate organized a special press conference with the four main athletes from UFC 220, an event that will take place on January 20th in Boston and will feature two title fights. After the event, the champions Stipe Miocic (heavy) and Daniel Cormier (light heavyweight) came face to face for the first time with Francis Ngannou e Volkan oezdemir, respectively their opponents. And the atmosphere heated up between Miocic and Ngannou.

After some exchanges of barbs during the press conference, especially when the champion declared that he did not feel intimidated by any man and was mocked by the challenger, the two faced each other and frowned at each other. Despite having greeted each other, the two maintained their pose and stared at each other intensely until UFC president Dana White separated them.
The confrontation between Cormier and Oezdemir was a little more relaxed, but full of provocation. Silent, the champion let out ironic smiles, while the Swiss challenger kept a closed expression.
