Dream, the biggest Japanese event today, held the seventeenth edition of the show this Saturday morning (Brasília time). The fight program featured experienced names and the opening of the organization's bantamweight GP. Among the Brazilians in the tournament, Bibiano Fernandes and Rodolfo Marques secured their place in the semifinals by defeating Takafumi Otsuka and Yusup Saadulaev, respectively.
Among the close fights, Yan Cabral managed to surprise veteran Kazushi Sakuraba and submitted the Japanese with a katagatame in the second round. But Willamy Chiquerim, who returned to Japan after a short stint in the UFC, wasn't as lucky. The Nova União athlete was defeated by Satoru Kitaoka in a split decision by the judges.
