Current champion of the UFC's most disputed category, Jon Jones, reached the belt when he knocked out the Brazilian Mauricio Shogun at UFC 128, held in February this year. With a record of 13 wins and one loss (by disqualification), the American revelation, just 24 years old, is looking for his first belt defense amid controversy, as he is accused of trying to spy on the preparation of Rampage.
In its turn, Quinton jackson, who has a professional record of 32 wins and eight losses, will have the chance to regain the reign of the light heavyweight division, which he owned in 2008. Always in a good mood, Rampage stated that he is not bothered by Jones' speculated espionage.
“It’s no secret to anyone that I’m going to put my hand on him,” joked Jackson.
The UFC 135 fight program features just one Brazilian in action: Júnior Assunção returns to the biggest MMA organization in the world, after four years away, facing Eddie Yagin.
