After the triumph, achieved at UFC Winnipeg last Saturday (16), RDA appeared in second place in the division's ranking, released by Ultimate itself last Tuesday (19). Ahead of Dos Anjos is just Stephen Thompson, since the champion Tyron woodley does not enter the score.

The Brazilian surpassed two athletes, as he was fourth before UFC Winnipeg. In addition to Lawler, Dos Anjos also left behind the American Colby covington, who challenged him right after the end of the duel with “Ruthless”, once again insulting Brazil and the Brazilian fans. Leader of the ranking, Thompson also challenged Rafael Dos Anjos, however, praising the performance of the former lightweight champion.

Another relevant change in the rankings happened in the featherweight division. After making his debut in the category, beating the Brazilian Felipe Sertanejo, Josh Emmett shocked the world by knocking out third place Ricardo Lamas. The American hit the former featherweight title challenger with a left hook that knocked him out instantly. Despite not having made weight due to taking the fight with little time to prepare, Emmett, who replaced José Aldo against Lamas, he debuted in fifth place in the division ranking.
