Former UFC bantamweight title challenger, the Kyrgyz-Peruvian Valentina Shevchenko will make his flyweight debut at UFC Belém on February 3rd. She will face the newcomer Priscila Pedrita, according to information on the Combate channel website. Another duel that is scheduled for the first Ultimate event in the North of Brazil pits Polyana viana and North American Maia Stevenson, in the straw category.

Shevchenko, who recently expressed her desire to face her arch-rival again Amanda nunes, begins his journey at flyweight after failing to win the belt in the top category. A victory against newcomer Pedrita should give her a shot at the 57 kg title, currently held by Nicco Montaño, who won TUF 26 and won the belt over Roxanne Modafferi.
