“I thought I would be (annoyed), but I’m not. I knew this would happen. That's why I asked him to sign the contract, obliging him to unify the belts if he won. He doesn't want to fight Woodley, he doesn't want to fight Whittaker. He wanted the fight with Bisping. GSP handpicked Bisping, faced him, won the duel and left, it happens”, said the Ultimate leader.

Former owner of the welterweight title, St. Pierre returned to the UFC after four years away to fight for the middleweight belt and finished Michael Bisping. With this, the Canadian became only the fourth fighter to have two titles in two different categories, after Randy Couture, B.J. Penn e Conor McGregor.
