Brazilian Luis Henrique KLB is the first absence from UFC Belém, an event that will mark the debut of Ultimate in the North of Brazil. The heavyweight suffered a biceps injury and will need to undergo surgery, which will leave him out of the duel against the American Timothy Johnson, announced just a few days ago. The information is from the Combate channel website.

KLB would try, against Johnson, to break a negative streak of two fights. The Brazilian is coming off defeats to Arjan Bhullar and Marcin tybura. The North American comes from a setback to fellow Brazilian Júnior “Baby” Albini. It is still unclear whether another heavyweight will be called up to replace Luis Henrique or whether he will be removed from the card.
