After being withdrawn from UFC Sidney due to concerns related to his health, the heavyweight Mark Hunt He was released by doctors and should return to the Octagon soon, according to information from the Daily Telegraph. And, if it depends on the New Zealander, he already has the ideal opponent for his return: the Brazilian Fabricio Werdum, who replaced him at the Australian event a few weeks ago.

The two already faced each other in November 2014, when Werdum knocked out Hunt in the second round of UFC 180 to become interim heavyweight champion in Mexico.
“We would like Fabricio Werdum was Mark's opponent in Perth, Australia. We believe that Francis Ngannou is next in line for the title fight against Miocic. So, we would like to face Fabricio and be in line for the title at the end of 2018”, declared Ginnen, who admitted that the UFC will still be notified of the results of the exams.
Hunt was removed from UFC Sidney after admitting that he had some difficulty remembering certain events, citing possible problems with the excessive punches he received to the head. The fighter went so far as to accuse Dana White of having removed him from the event due to the lawsuit he filed against the organization – in it, Hunt accuses Ultimate of knowing that Brock Lesnar was under the influence of steroids when he faced him at UFC 200.
