UFC sticker album arrives in Brazil

Driven by the huge popularity of MMA in Brazil, Panini launches UFC sticker albums across the country. The company, which is known for its famous World Cup and Brazilian Championship collections, is now investing in MMA. The album will have 20 pages with profiles of some of the event's athletes, with priority given to those who participated in UFC Rio.

However, due to a mistake on the part of the company, only Anderson Silva, as the current middleweight champion, is the only belt holder in the collection. Names like champions Dominick Cruz (roosters), Jose aldo (feathers) Frank Edgar (light), Georges St Pierre (welterweight), Jon Jones (light heavyweight) and Cain Velazquez (heavy) were “forgotten” by Panini.

The UFC illustrated book brings together the profiles of 20 fighters, spread over 20 pages. The album, which will feature 84 stickers, will describe in detail the specific skills and fighting styles of each athlete. The collection will also bring a game for fight fans. Along with the publication, the buyer will receive a board and will be able to collect cards to play. The price of the first edition is R$3,90, the envelope with a sticker, a pop-up and a “tattoo” will cost R$1,20.
