Dustin poirier achieved the biggest victory of his career by defeating the former champion Anthony Pettis by technical knockout (withdrawal) at 2:08 of the third round, in a duel that topped the main card of the UFC Norfolk.
The underdog for the duel, Poirier made the best moment of his career count by dominating the former champion during the three rounds, showing a lot of diversity in the exchange of blows and grappling. The positive result also served as a recovery for Dustin, after seeing his fight against Eddie Alvarez, in May of this year, end in a no contest.
