After UFC 217, Dana White distributes bonuses to five fighters

New champions win US$50, while Ovince St. Preux and Ricardo Carcacinha share the prize

Perhaps the best event this year, UFC 217 crowned three new champions in the three title fights that headlined a star-studded card this Saturday (4). Georges St Pierre, TJ Dillashaw e Rose namajunas won the middleweight, bantamweight and strawweight belts, respectively, over the former champions Michael Bisping, cody garbrandt e Joanna Jedrzejczyk. But they also got a treat from the company president, Dana White, who gave the three athletes performance bonuses for the show.

With that, St. Pierre, Dillashaw and Namajunas got an extra check for $50. Additionally, two other fighters were honored for their performances at UFC 217. Both Ovince St Preux as Ricardo Carcacinha earned US$25 for their brutal knockouts against Corey anderson (high kick) and Aiemann Zahabi (spinning elbow).

With the choice of five fighters to receive performance bonuses, Dana White chose not to award any fight of the night, choosing to give one of the bonuses to one of the athletes who won a new title and then split the value of the other bonus between Carcacinha and OSP .
