New York City will be the stage for a historic event. UFC 217 arrives in the 'Big Apple' with three title fights and a duel of legends in the main fight. In a duel valid for the middleweight belt, Georges St Pierre, former welterweight champion and considered one of the greatest fighters of all time, returns from retirement to face the Englishman Michael Bisping, owner of the record for victories inside the Octagon.

In addition to the duel between Bisping and GSP, two other champions put their titles on the line on the show: cody garbrandt will defend the bantamweight belt against his former teammate and current declared enemy TJ Dillashaw. Already Joanna Jedrzejczyk will try to equal the record of six title defenses Ronda Rousey, but to do so she will need to go through Rose namajunas.
The fight program also features two Brazilians who will be in action: Ricardo Carcacinha opens the preliminary card against Aiemann Zahabi, and Paulo borrachinha seeks the biggest victory of his career against the former champion at 77 kg. John hendricks at medium weight.
