The bantamweight champion cody garbrandt promised and fulfilled. Since he had his fight with his former teammate TJ Dillashaw made official, the North American has been provoking his current rival, saying that he had a tape of him knocking him out during training. On the eve of the fight between the two, scheduled for this Saturday (4), in the co-main fight of the historic UFC 217, “No Love” finally released what he had been promising: the video in which he knocks TJ down with a punch.

The two were teammates on Team Alpha Male for several years. Because they are in the same category, they trained together several times, including in tough sparring sessions. In one of them, Garbrandt was cornered by Dillashaw, dodged a direct shot and connected with a right over the shoulder of his former friend, who fell stunned.
After the video was released, Dillashaw said he only suffered one knockdown and returned to sparring immediately. Garbrandt argues that his current rival was unable to continue training as a result of the connected blow. This Saturday (4), Ultimate fans will know, once and for all, who is right.
