Karolina Kowalkiewicz enjoyed the home crowd at UFC Poland, an event held last Saturday (21), in Gdansk. The Polish woman defeated Jodie Esquibel by the judges' decision and is already looking at the next challenge. The strawweight, number three in the category ranking, revealed her desire to face the Brazilian Jessica Stacker Andrade, first place in the ranking.

"Jessica Andrade I said I turned down the fight against her, but that never happened, because that fight was never offered to me. So I want three days off and then I'll go back to training to fight her. It would be good if she was my next opponent,” said Kowalkiewicz.

The possible duel between Bate-Estaca and Kowalkiewicz could give the winner the chance to challenge the champion again Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Karolina was beaten by her compatriot at UFC 205, in November 2016, in the judges' decision. Jéssica was defeated, also in the decision, at UFC 211, in May this year.
