However, the Brazilian was caught in an anti-doping test for using the steroid stanozolol and removed from the event. USADA, the body responsible for the anti-doping policy of all UFC fighters, announced the punishment through an official statement and reiterated that, during this period, Carlos Boi must continue to act in accordance with the USADA Anti-Doping Policy if he wishes to return to the UFC. A new positive test during these two years could double your suspension period.
The Brazilian, who has an undefeated record with eight wins in eight fights, would make his debut in UFC Sao Paulo on October 28th. He would face Christian Colombo in the preliminary portion of the event.
