The dream of debuting Carlos Boi in the UFC it became a nightmare. The heavyweight signed with the organization in the middle of the year and had his first commitment scheduled for the UFC Sao Paulo. However, the Brazilian was caught in an anti-doping test for using the steroid stanozolol and removed from the event. This Friday (20), Carlos' punishment was announced: two years of suspension from Ultimate.

This means that the heavyweight will only be able to make his UFC debut, in fact, in September 2019, two years after the positive test was carried out. USADA, the body responsible for the anti-doping policy of all UFC fighters, announced the punishment through an official statement and reiterated that, during this period, Carlos Boi must continue to act in accordance with the USADA Anti-Doping Policy if he wishes to return to the UFC. A new positive test during these two years could double your suspension period.

The Brazilian, who has an undefeated record with eight wins in eight fights, would make his debut in UFC Sao Paulo on October 28th.
