After being removed from the UFC 216 card, the lightweight duel between Will Brooks and Nik lentz There is now a new date to take place. The two fighters will face each other at UFC Australia, in Sydney, on November 18th. The information is from the 'MMAJunkie' website. The duel was supposed to take place on October 7th, but it was canceled due to Lentz's health problems, who was unable to make the weight in the under-70kg category.

Hired in gold by Ultimate in 2016, Brooks still hasn't managed to live up to expectations. After debuting by beating Ross Pearson on points, he saw his good form stopped by two Brazilians: he was knocked out by Alex Cowboy, in October 2016, and finalized by Charles of the Bronx, last April. At 30 years old, Will has a record of 18 wins and three losses.
Lentz, for his part, is a UFC veteran. With the company since 2009, he has had 18 fights at home, 11 victories, five setbacks, one draw and one unsuccessful fight. His most recent performance was in February this year, when he was defeated by Islam makhachev at UFC 208. In total, his professional record has 27 wins, eight losses, two draws and one no contest.
UFC Australia will be headlined by the fight between the former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum and the polish Marcin tybura. Some of the other clashes confirmed for the card are: Belal Muhammad | x Tim means, Jake matthews x Bojan Velickovic and Elias Theodorou x Dan Kelly.
